[Completed] Hardware migration for wire1/wire2 - October 31th, 2009

Dear Customers,

In order for us to continue providing exceptional service with the best possible hosting experience, we will be migrating all wire1 and wire2 customers to a new server. There may be a small service outage while the accounts are being migrated from one machine to another. Your accounts will be on new shared IP address, and if you currently have a dedicated IP and SSL certificate, you will be assigned a new dedicated IP. There is nothing required on customer end. But we do recommend all customers to download a backup of their account as always, you should always keep a backup of your account no matter what.

Regular updates will be posted in this thread during the migration process, and after the migration has been completed. Subscribe to the Announcements section to stay up-to-date.

IMPORTANT: If anyone using an external 3rd party dns service, please login to your billing center to get your new ip address and update your DNS records at the 3rd party dns service. There is no dns changes required for anyone using our server's dns.

Some of you might be already on the new server finding empty directories and emails, please do not panic. Once the restoration of the server has been completed, all of your files, emails, databases will be restored.

The migration is still in progress, we are currently moving Wire1 accounts.

We are 50% completed with the transfer, your web sites should be resolving on the new server and your files should start to appear shortly.

90% completed with wire1, most web sites should be online now on the new server. Please make sure you are not using the hostname or IP address of the old server in your configuration settings for connecting to databases/ftp/etc.

Just completing the final sync of the data across the servers. Should be completed soon

Wire1 has been migrated over 100%. Should you see any issues with your web site, any errors, please contact us immediately.
